Mark Strauss, CEO of WaveAerospace, is a long time, valued customer of Tyto Robotics, most recently working with the Flight Stand 150 test bench. Here's what he had to say about the role of Tyto tools in his drone development process.

“After almost a decade, Tyto Robotics remains one of WaveAerospace’s most valued technology partners, helping us manufacture uncrewed aircraft from 20kg to 700kg.

Tyto Robotics plays a significant role in our aircraft design workflow, helping us develop the unique relationship among speed control, motor, and propeller that allow our Falcon II to be efficient enough to stay in the air for a full 60 minutes (with payload) while surviving the worst possible conditions.

A 2-sensor Tyto Robotics test stand was among the first, and most valuable research tools we purchased. In fact, we just purchased our second!

We built our newest, larger Tyto Robotics stand on a weighted card we can roll onto the ramp of our R&D facility. One of our favorite features of Tyto test equipment is the ability to easily integrate it into the larger systems we use to test new power systems together with propellers.”
