2. Software Overview - Part 2 (5 mins):
Steps: - Connect the thrust stand
- Navigate to the Setup tab and check ‘Activate experimental scripting mode’
- Navigate to the Automatic Control tab
- Select a script from the drop-down menu to use as a template
- Click ‘Clone’ to create an editable copy of the script
- Modify the values in the script (i.e. throttle values and times)
- Enter a file name and press enter to save your custom script
- Click ‘Run’ to start your automated test script
3. How to Automate a Step Test (3 mins):
Steps: - Navigate to the Setup tab and check ‘Activate experimental scripting mode’
- Navigate to the ‘Automatic control’ tab
- Select ‘Sweep - discrete’ from the drop-down script menu
- Click ‘Clone’ to create an editable copy of the script
- Modify the values in the script (i.e. throttle values and times)
- Click ‘Run’ to start your automated step test
- Navigate to the working directory on your computer to see the results
4. How to Perform a Ramp Test (3 mins):
Steps: - Navigate to the ‘Automatic control’ tab
- Select ‘Sweep - continuous’ from the drop-down script menu
- Click ‘Clone’ to create an editable copy of the script
- Modify the values in the script (i.e. throttle values and settling time)
- Click ‘Run’ to start your endurance test
- Navigate to the working directory on your computer to see the results
5. How to Perform an Endurance Test (2 mins):
Steps: - Navigate to the ‘Automatic control’ tab
- Select ‘Custom steps sequence’ from the drop-down script menu
- Click ‘Clone’ to create an editable copy of the script
- Modify the values in the script (i.e. throttle values and # of repeats)
- Click ‘Run’ to start your endurance test
- Navigate to the working directory on your computer to see the results
